Claim Management
QUALSURV has experience in both the public and private sectors and has assisted clients with the successful resolution of claims for more than 20 years. When a problem arises it should be dealt with quickly to avoid the unnecessary escalation of the issue. Our claims consultants have the skills and expertise to manage claims preparation and evaluate the time and cost effects or, if a client has received a claim, assessing liability and preparing an effective defence. We will give the client early advice on the strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats to its position.

After several proceedings before the courts in Belgium, the client decided to take the matter to arbitration. Qualsurv provided drafting and technical support for letters, submissions and delay analysis and contributed its experience and deep knowledge of the offshore wind industry all of which was of great assistance to Eubelius and the whole client team. I was grateful and pleased with the work, and support, under challenging circumstances.
QUALSURV have dealt with a particularly complex claim which proved challenging due to the scale of the issues involved and hampered by the lack of records. Regardless of this, the team have assisted in achieving significant resolution of some key issues namely; award of a substantial extension of time, award of related costs and the removal of liability to liquidated damages.
The staff have dedicated themselves to the task and have provided the resources to meet the challenge, sometimes at short notice. They have worked alongside internal resources to form a cohesive team approach to the problems faced.
In addition, their expertise has formulated and presented argument which has significantly contributed to the negotiation.
It will be difficult for people not involved in this process to appreciate the scale of the issues we have faced together but I believe the results achieved would not have been possible without the contribution made by QUALSURV, for that I am very grateful.
